land in pa to hunt

If I remember correctly, you hunt in Carbon County - right? There's a ton of SGLnear Jim Thorpe. I went bear hunting there last year and saw a couple deer. We're up in Sullivan County (about 1.5 hours NW of there) but my in-laws live in Carbon County.

Evansburg State Park in Montgomery County has about 1000 acres of public land. A lot of deer come out of there during archery. I'll probably put in a day over there.

I can't help you with anything that close to Philly but if you get up my way in the Lehigh Valley then I would be happy to show you some spots on SGL 205 that don't get much use during bow season.
