I believe he was talking about Carroll County Maryland. I live about 10 min from you, and hunt even closer, although I dont scoff at your story I have never seen these animals people say they have seen (coyotes, moutain lions, bobcats etc) and I have hunted for 15 years, 4 days a week. I would love to see something like that, I guess I just have bad luck on sightings.

I live in Carroll Co Md for the last 9 yrs. I have been told that there are a couple of mountain lions that come down from the hills of PA twice a yr when we are in the heavily populated white tail season. I always thought this was a tale. A friend of mine has a video from their parents of a mountain lion crossing the driveway in their backyard last winter. Has anyone else heard of these sightings in any other so called non mountain lion counties in MD?

Born and raised in Carroll County Maryland, I now reside in WV, and I would highly doubt there is a mountain lion but I wouldn't bet a finger against it.

I know there are a few coyote running around now, which is good and bad.
