Question for the PA guys?

RE: Question for the PA guys?
Well considering the location of my opening morning stand and its proximity to a local creek, with this Saturday's weather forcast I might just shoot a big female carp in the morning, and try for a fat channel catfish later that evening. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Seriously, If I have a good shot at a nice mature doe opening morning I'll take it.......I have 2 local antlerless tags to use up, so it doesn't matter to me when or how I fill them. As long as I do my part with a clean shot I can get it out with very little disturbance for an evening hunt.
Now the tough part will be picking the right one of my 5 stand sites.
I still always have that "Late Season" tag like Rob for chasing em' around the mountains of Clinton Co. after Christmas.

Last year I said I would not shoot a doe until after noon on the first saturday. On opening day I passed up 4 does, passed up 6 more before noon on first saturday. I didnt see another deer that afternoon or the last saturday. Got skunked. I learned my lesson. Now my motto is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED

RE: Question for the PA guys?
i'll be looking for a doe first as i have my muzzle loader stamp and both of my doe tags, and the early muzz. season is for doe but alas, i didn't get my bow license this year as after just buying a house my finances are a bit tight right now so the buck will have to wait till i get my bow lic. or until reg. season opens <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> whelen36, stephen d.
