i put this up on the turkey site, but i thought id put it here also...

well it was the last day today, and my friend went w/ me to film my hunt.. i really didnt think much would happen but i was wrong.. i ended up getting one.. 7am, jake 14lbs 3 1/2" beard... the funny thing is it is my first jake ever, ive killed lots of longbeards but never a jake but it was the last day and he gave me a great hunt on a tough season.. i called him in from across the hollow he even crossed a pretty big creek.. then came up to me at about 20yrds.. oh and my friend did get it on film also.. so my season ended on a great note.. even though it was a jake im really pleased w/ it.. im pretty happy right now..

Cardeer - Can you shoot a shotgun on your property? If you blasted one of those turkeys, you might chase the flock away. Just make sure he has a beard. Oh well, next year.
