Filled my Bonus tag Sat. eve with a big doe. Harvested at 125 yds with my Kodiak and 240gr. Deadcenter bullet. My son seen a 10 pt. with a drop tine on the left side, first time we had seen this buck, gives ne a little incentive to get back out. Good Hunting

Nope, didn't get nothing... but it's hard to shoot a deer from my couch in the suburbs. Grrr... too much wind and rain and snow and sleet, couldn't get out... that sucks. Sooo my doe tag remains unfilled.

***Sigh*** maybe next year.

I feel bad for my mom though, this deer was going to be for her freezer, I got two this year, mine and my boyfriends. I'm happy with that result.

MY BROTHER SHOT A MAIN FRAME 8 POINT SUN. AT 4:00PM. IT HAD SPLIT BROWTINES AND A KICKER OFF THE BASE. THERE WERE FOUR BUCKS IN THE GROUP HE SHOT HIM OUT OF. THIS WAS THE SECOND BIGGEST OF THE BUNCH. THE BIGGER LEFT BEFOUR GIVING HIM A CLEAR SHOT. MON. EVE I PASTED ON 5 DOES. I LIKE TO SHOOT MY DOES W/ MY BOW. I AM STILL HOLDING OUT FOR A NICE BUCK. I HAVE SEEN THEM BUT IT IS GETTING HARDER EVERY DAY TO CONNECT.

Hey that's cool, Split...but easy on the CapsLock next time.

I didn't go out this past weekend. I was sick all last week..and most of the day saturday. Sunday I slept in..b/c I'm lazy now that I've killed a couple deer. I plan on going out this coming weekend...if the weather is decent.
