Congrats, bigbuck! BTW, how much did she weigh?

My buddy and I went out this morning...saw nothing. We took a little scouting trip..and found some cool stuff. Overall, the most excitement I had today was a tie between discovering a good layer of ice on a local pond...and getting some grub from our new Long John Silvers in town. WHAT a day....

Congrats again!

Peyton can do it..but it will be TOUGH! Baltimore has only given up 10 passing TD's this year..fewest in the league. I'm looking for Edge to have a good game. I also hope Baltimore blitzes heavily...giving the WR's and TE's 1-on-1 coverage. I'm worried about Ed Reed coming over the top and taking away our deep passes..but if Edge is running well they'll probably bring him up in the box.

OH...check this link out...if you haven't heard the news yet.

Have a good time...and remember...you can fit 2 beers in each pocket of a heavy winter coat..that'll save ya $40.

Wow...it was a good game! Baltimore's defense was constantly shifting and moving...it was nuts to watch on tv! Manning did what he needed to do..and that was escape with a win. You gotta admit though, he showed a LOT of class just kneeling down at the end of the game. The record will be his soon enough...but he'll get it in an honest way...not by running up the score when a kneel down wins the game. Freeney was all over Ogden! I was worried before the game that our pass rush would be denied...but he blew pass and pushed around Ogden most of the game. Total of #15 sacks so far this year. I too was down on Jason David earlier in the year (ESPECIALLY after we drafted him..and I saw he was 5'7" 167lbs!)....but since the Oakland game...I've really started liking his play! He's a ball hawk, constantly on the WR and always looking for the big play. In college, Marcus Trufant gave JD the credit for himself looking good..b/c QB's wouldn't throw to JD's side of the field. JD set an NCAA with INT's in his career....he's a playmaker.

Next up, San Deigo! Idrees Bashir is out this weekend, but BOB'S BACK! Sanders and Doss are a great duo in the backfield! I don't think LT will have big #'s this weekend..but Gates might hurt us a time or two..especially in the redzone. I'm sure our front 4 will get constant pressure..being that they'll use their speed at the Dome. Our LB's and DB's can drop back and play zone...which will get us a few Turn Overs throughout the game. Manning and the offense should have a field day against SD's defense. They are overrated, IMO. Quinten Jammer will be locked with Marvin...but who cares!? Mavin can beat anyone...and don't foget the other 7 offensive studs we have. No way does SD hold us down.

I can't wait for this game. I have a half day at work tomorrow..then I'm off for 2 weeks! Bring on the bowl games and playoffs!

I'd rather have the Bronco's over the Jets. Jets always put up huge numbers on us..and I think we can corral the Bronco's offense at the Dome with our speed.

I was ticked off Sanders didn't play Sunday. I heard on ESPN radio that Dungy said he could have played if it was a playoff game..but he's 95% healthy now..and they want him 100% for the playoffs.

Overall..next week in Denver is a meaningless game for us...but a huge game for the Bronco's. I look for our starting offense will play the 1st half, then rest them up..getting them ready for the playoffs. IF we do play Denver again in the playoffs, we'll play a very vanilla style of playcalling this coming Sunday...saving our weapons for the playoffs. With that being said, I look for us to lose by 15 points next weekend.

Hey, what do you think of Freeney having 16 sacks so far this year?! He might get 1 or two next week..but it'll be tough! 16 is HUGE...couple that with Mathis' 10.5...and our pass rush is awesome!

I've also been thinking ahead to the draft in April. I think (since Morris should be gone) we need a MLB and a CB early. We might also get some Safety depth since Bashir most likely will be gone. Harper might be gone too after this season..so our starting CB's will be Strickland/Jefferson/David (nickelback)/Sanders (FS) and Doss (SS). If those guys can stay healthy, and even get a future stud CB to develope...we'll have great starters and great depth in the secondary for the first time in YEARS...well before the dreaded Chad Cota days.
