Those lucky bowhunters that were able to hunt the peak of the rut in Wisconsin or boardering states, when where the exact dates of the peak of the rut, when the does become receptive to bucks. I believe it was around November 4-6 but that's just what I hear, I'm in college and was unable to hunt. Just wondering because I want to study the effects of moon phases and deer, it's said that the second rut peaks 29 days after the first rut, that means I towards the end of this week. Thanks for any information, Good luck late season hunting!
