rattle hints?

Default rattle hints?

id like to start rattling but i dont know when and how. I live in southern Indiana. I know its beter when the buck to doe ratio is close and i know you should do it for at least a couple of min. But can i start now? its mid october and the rut is around the first of nov.

any hints?

I would wait to start hitting the horns couple of weeks away, they should start sparring up here real soon if not already, have'nt witnessed any yet. but from what i been hearing on here there getting going up north, startng to spar and chase alittle.

I have seen some intense sparring already. I also harvested a buck that came to light rattling last weekend. I think light rattling right now will be ok.
