Hope this doesn't upset to many Kansas hunters but I am all four unlimited non-res tags in Kansas. We Missourians give Kansas that option every year and its about time Kansas returns the favor. I for one say Go Hayden!
Ps. can you recommend a good place to deer hunt in Kansas for next fall

Mike4Elk...Please, please take back your "option" that you speak of. I don't want it and know few who do. We have some of the best land and best herds to hunt whitetail deer in the world and that is largely in part because we kept out-of-staters "out" for so long and kept our herds in tact, but now also by managing the number of non-residents allowed to hunt here. Just because your conservation department has their head up their bung hole doesn't mean we should follow your lead. Close your borders, I don't want to hunt a state that has guns slingin' lead all over creation during the heat of the rut while the bowhunters and their bows collect dust waiting for the seige to end and all of the bucks dissiminated leaving little left in the way of quality animals to pass on quality genes. What a shame! And you all boast of record harvests every year...what a joke! Give it a few more years and the overall quality of bucks in Missouri will resemble places like Pennsylvania and other states back east with poor herds. Then if we have unlimited tags for non-residents, all the jokers from MO will come over to our paradise and desecrate it because you have no quality deer left to hunt!! I'll resist it to the end!!!

P.S. You want to know of a good place to hunt in Kansas? How about in the middle of the Kansas River? Lots of big bucks skulking there from what I hear!

MoBow...I have been in dozens of cities in the US and overseas twice in my life and there are many beautiful places out there, many much more beautiful than Kansas so let me clarify what I mean when I say &quot;paradise&quot;. When I say &quot;paradise&quot; (for you remedial types)<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> I am speaking in terms of a &quot;hunting&quot; paradise. Kansas is a TOP state in producing quality deer in their native habitat and they have had and hopefully will continue to have an effective, intelligent, and proactive Department of Wildlife. Oh, and MoBow, I used to have a friend that lived in Lone Jack so I've seen your neck of the woods numerous times...and soon I think I'll get that stench out!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> And the whole &quot;woman with PMS&quot; comment I thought was pretty funny as well especially coming from a bearded monkey such as yourself! LOL!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

You know, not every Tom, Dick, and Harry would want to hunt in Ks. if everyone that lived there didn't come out tell everyone that Ks. is a &quot;hunting paradise&quot;, so that's what you get when you're on here telling the world how great the quality of deer is there. I'll be there again and again, even though it saddens me a bit that the outfitting businesses are the ones they will be reaping the benefits of the large portion of out-of-staters when they allow more tags. There is alot of public land, but if there are more tags available to the o/s hunters, then the outfitters will be leasing more and more land from the locals. I wonder, are they going to allow more tags for all forms of hunting, such as rifle, muzzleloader, bow.
Oh, by the way, there are no good quality bucks in N. Central Ks., those that Ks. Hunter shows I think came from down around where Wolfen68 hunts!
