Kansas Hunters

RE: Kansas Hunters
Hey Joey,
I made a few calls and found a campground near Red Lake to take the boys. It's called Poplar Point and it's on Gullrock Lake. That is part of the chain of lakes attached to Red Lake. We are leaving a week from tomorrow. Can't wait to get into some big walleye. Gullrock has had a bit more intense management since 1994. Only one walleye over 18" may be taken home per person from your whole trip. All 5 lodges comply to that rule.
I'm pulling my pop-up camper. Looking forward to the boys first serious fishing trip. I will mostly just be their guide, boat captain, cook and camera man.

RE: Kansas Hunters
I have lived in SW Kansas my whole life (29 years) this is the first year that I have ever applied for a tag. When do we find out if we get one? I applied for a muzzleloading one and that season is just around the corner. I am getting excited but dont want to get my hopes up too much. Does anyone know when I should find out? Thanks
