What I'm concerned about is where I hunt in North Mo. the crops aren't picked by then ie. corn soybeans and it is very difficult to see them then and I'm in such a remote region Keeping one from spoiling for the 200 mile ride home is a problem.
I have already planned to go but I have to have an opreration so may not be able to get out. Darn my bad luck !

.358 one answer for ya, skin and quarter it right after the kill. then put it in a large cooler with plenty of ice, if kept out of direct sunlight you should be good if happens to be in sunlight stop after about 100 miles and check the ice, poor the water out and add new ice. this is what I always had to do after hunt that had a long hot drive afterwards.
