Can someone tell me if it is legal to plant corn and leave it standing without the intent to harvest it? I think I heard someone where that it is. I'm trying to figure out what to plant.

How can it be illegal? Every year a crop or many go untouched because a farmer did not get to in time for the snow. Any how we live in a agricultural state and there is no way a food plot is illegal. Baiting is illegal but that is different in my mind. A food plot runs out of resources eventually baiting does not.

It is not illegal to plant one or to hunt over it. For a matter of fact, all of the quality management groups are recommending just that to improve the quality of out deer.
