Three words to cure a big part of the Packers problems, both in the playoffs and in the regular season:
I have consistently said this for the last year and a half. Just when the team shows that aggressive defense works, he decides to go into some limp-wristed zone defense and the opposition marches down the field. The "deep three" call in Philly is just the most obvious example. Also look at the second half of the Seattle game. First half, good solid man-to-man defense, lots of blitzing, and the Pack was in control. After half time, they go into the zone again and Seattle marches up and down the field for two unanswered touchdowns. THEN, the moron goes into the papers and rips his players, saying that they didn't play the zone "correctly". It takes a real lame coach to call out his players in the press.
Get rid of that moron, now!!!

good point. Famout Notre Dame defense. How far do you think Mcnabb could have thrown downfield with a little zone blitz in his face?? Maybe 12 - 15 yards. Leaves about 10 -14 for a gang tackle "if" it was complete.

Wow! Wishes do come true. Donatell is gone! At last. I never did like the guy...last year he took credit for a great turnover ratio, which is the 50% the result of good play by the player and 50% blind luck.
NYbowhunter...exactly! Why not at least run a linebacker blitz? The safeties would play in a little more, and the corners would play more of a man-to-man...or the football equivalent of a match-up zone. Rush Barnett from the inside after hesitating a second or two and if they pick him up...oh well...and if they don't McNabb either scrambles or eats some turf.

] Good choice!! They made the Eagles look weak tonight! Too bad it wasn't the Pack they were playing tonight. If Hasselbeck could have backed up his words at Lambeau--the Hawks could have beat the eagles today!![X(] But WHERE was the blitz at 4th and 26?? Why not take the 3 spot at the end of the first half??? Packers should have been there today-Bad coaching decisions.[X(]
