hello everyone. im from pa, and whould like to know if anyone can help me ? i am looking to do some bow hunting next year in ohio and whould like to know where theres some good areas to hunt. and how do i go about getting a lic. thanks good hunting/////////////////

If you are a little more specific I would be able to help you out a little. As to buying a license. Just go to any sporting goods store or walmart and buy it over the counter.

I bought my license by printing the form on Ohio Game department web site out and mailing to them. I had my license in less than a week.

You can buy your licenses over the internet. Previous post show the DNR website. I think the best places to deer hunt Ohio are the SE counties (Adams. Meigs, Vinton, Jackson....). I went to college at Ohio Unversity in Athens, Ohio and there was always hunting activity in the fall. I personally hunt in Clermont County, SW Ohio, and have seen PLENTY of deer.

IT DEPEND ON WHAT YOUR AFTER. I'D ASSUME YOUR AFTER DEER IT YOU ARE THE BEST AREA TO HUNT DEER IS OUR SE COUNTIES (GUERNSEY,TUSCAWARUS,MUSKIGUM).
