hows everyones late season gun hunt going? i plan on going out sometime next week and next weekend. im just curious how all the wisconsin hunters are doing

I went outmid morningwith my rifle and did not see anything not even a squirrel. I went to a different unit this afternoon with my bow and had a great hunt. Saw a bunch of deer but I was by a food source too. This morning I was in hardwoods in the middle of no where. I don't think many people are rifle hunting the late season around me.

got out twice the first time didn't see any and the second time i went out with my dad and he shot a little spike.

what units is this? can you shoot bucks?

I thought the Dec. hunts were antlerless? Oh well the DNR wants the deer all dead there anyway!

In the CWD zone it is EAB, the anterless only season ran for 4 days before Christmas with an archery week in between it and this ridiculous Holiday hunt, now anything goes til the 4th.
I'm still bowhunting as I have been since the opener, still havn't had the right buck walk by in range during camera light.
