RE: Kansas weather in late october
Over the last few years...it varies. Last 2 years it has been warm. The best thing to do is to look at the weather a few weeks before you get here. You can always go to yahoo weather or weather.com and input the zip code for the area you will be going to. What area will you be going hunting in??

I've seen snow as early as Oct. 31st to light jacket weather at the first of December. Plan on some layers. I'd say a typical morning hunt from a stand, you'd probably want long underwear, a heavy sweatshirt over a t-shirt, and a warm cap to be toasty. That time of year when I'm actively moving in the woods, I can get away with a heavy sweatshirt or jacket and a warm cap and gloves.
The big thing about Kansas weather is that it can change so quickly since its right in the middle of the continent and get tropical air and arctic air in the same week.

Just like everyone is saying, it's Kansas there is no telling.
Bring some rain gear, some cold weather gear and some warm weather gear.
I have seen it 75- 80degrees in Nov. and I've seen it 32 degrees in june. It should be cold mornings and warm afternoons.Froze hunting turkeys one day and shedding clothes the next. Good luck.
