How did your season turn out? Mine was pretty good. Got my first buck, 10pt, and two does. Took all with rifle, took one shot with my bow but missed, misjugded the yardage and shot under her.

I was pleased with my hunt back home, in Ks. I took two good doe, with bow, and passed up three 8 point bucks, all will be better next year.Just didn't lay eyes on the good bucks this year.Oh well, that's what keeps me going back for more next year!

I arrowed a couple does and a buck. Got about as close to arowing a nice buck as a person probably could, but it was fun. I just didn't have much time to hunt, being in college 3 hours away. But was pleased to at least get something.

I had a good time but had a brand new baby daughter in the middle of the season and wasn't able to get out as much as I usually do. I did manage to harvest a nice 9-point buck that scored in the 130's but had busted both brow tines off at the base. Shot him at about 12 yards with my bow...an awesome close encounter. Passed up about a dozen different smaller bucks that will be nice ones next year and in the years to come.

Someone just told me tonight that if you are after a big buck to to either Kansas or Iowa, don't go to Sask. and freeze your butt off. Is that a good statement. How much are non res license......
