My friendsaw this buck in the back yard fighting aconcrete deer.Walking in from hunting so he nocked an arrow and shot from 60 yards and hit it in the leg.The buck turned the concrete deer on top of his antlers and got stuck.Shot the buck 3 more times to finish him off. He is lucky. He is on cloud 9 at school. One kid said i dont shoot anything less than a six ad he said i dont shoot any thing less than a 20 pointer. This deer has 25 points. He is a beast for southern indiana.

Hello, I have a question for everyone. I have been hunting the same spot the last 5 years and been very successful, however this year I lost my spot and had to setup somewhere new that I have nevr been before. I don't know much about it and have had little time to scout. Any tips or ideas that might help as far as where to setup, look for etc....

Hunt in the morning, do a quick scout of the area when you get down. Move stands, hunt like hell until you either kill something, or learn of a better spot on your land to hunt.

I've hunted the same spot for 5 years now. It seems as if one year the deer move through one part of our land, and the next year they'll move through a different part. Put the time in and learn where the deer like to be at..and when.

I'm sorry but taking a 60 yard shot with a bow when you are obviously not skilled enough is just not what I would consider something to brag about. Especially shooting at a buck in your back yard. That kid deserves to get soem mandatory hunting safety training no matter who lucky he got.
