Default Mount Sterling, Illinois....Any Nightlife?

I will be out in the Mount Sterling area for 2 weeks in November, I know there will be a night or a few nights I will get restless, is there any nightlife in the area? Any good looking women or will it be typical quiet Mid-Western good living, nothing to do area?

quincy isn't very far . i worked in quincy for 3 months and they really don't have a whole lot. didn't seem like there was ,i was working 70 hours a week. they do have a very nice store called GAMEMASTERS. it's pretty nice. indoor archery range and 3d shoot. nice gun selection, nice archery selection. it's kind of a mini version of bass pro. i think it use to be a menards or something. it's a nice place , it's got a little smoke house eatery.

When are you going to be in Mt. Sterling exactly? A few of us guys will be down very close to you in November for a few weekends. Maybe we can meet up and head to Quincy one night? I've been to Mt. Sterling a few times this summer and it's the type of town where if you blink for too long you might miss it when you're driving through. I can pretty much tell you there's not any sort of real night life in the immediate area. However, there is a McDonalds that makes killer chocolate shakes.

Hi there I see you are looking for some night life in mt.sterling, To tell you the truth there realy isn't any I live in Rushville and there are only 5 bars in town and 2 of which are hopping on a sat.night. If you go to Beardstown there a few more but nothing realy wild (The mile 88 ) is fairly decent. If you are looking for good food there is (The River View bowl and resturant) it has a nice view of the river and have pretty good steaks and fish. If your looking for women try Jacksonville or a long drive to Springfield .. If you need a bowshop check out (Family Archery in Rushville) full service shop , shooting lanes and new computer target range Tell Jason the owner Kevin L sent ya . Good Hunting .... >>---> P m me any time Hope this helps

I'll second a stop at GAMEMASTERS!! My son played football against Quincy Notre Dame HS three years ago. It was a 3 hour drive so we left early. My wife had to drag me out of there so we could make it to the game on time. Really a nice store.
