How is Silver Springs State Park
I think I am going to go out early tomorrow morning and hunt for the first time this year. It doesnt look like it has too much land for hunting whitetails. Any tips on what areas to take a doe? Section B or C? Near the marshes? Dawn or Dusk? I am hoping to at least see a deer, even at a couple hundred yards would satisfy me! Thanks Peter

RE: How is Silver Springs State Park
Our family is heading there in a few minutes to take our annual picturesfor our christmas cards.
I'll check the sign in logs and see what people have posted and if I run in to my bud the supt. I'll ask him what he knows or can add. If he's not around I'll give him a call Monday.
Can't do much better than that now can ya?
Where are you actually located?

ollie I was told that there hasn't been much hunting activity there except the opening day.
There have 8 deer reportedtaken. 4 from B & 4 from C.
2 8-pointers & 2 does from each.
Supt. told me IHO he would go with C & if he could only go AM's or PM's he'd go PM's.
Good luck.
