Headed to Deer Camp 06 Thanksgiving week... Western UP.... hopefully some of our management over the past few years will begin to pay some dividends... if not... i did manage a doe permit in the lottery

On a side note... my pickup almost filled it's buck tag last night... thank god for good brakes and hi-beams...

If and when I get one , Buck or Doe I'll post a picture and a story to go with it .
I'm hunting in a spot known as four cornners its where four countys come together.
Seen a lot of deer and turkey in that area , good luck to allmy fellow Michiganders.

Sorry to hear about the lost big boys. I know the feeling of losing a deer...I don't like it. Infact, my pop shot a doe the other day...good blood...but we lost her. That's bowhunting. If a bowhunter says that he has never wounded and lost a deer he is not telling the whole truth or he is very very very lucky. I do have some good news. Two days before my pop shot the one we didn't find he did shoot a Button Buck. He hit the deer in the spine and dropped it right on the bait pile. It's his 20th deer and I couldnt be happier. I will add some pics when I get a chance.
