Hey Bowhunter 45-
Sorry about not gettin back to ya earlier. I've been a huntin away every night hard for the past 2 weeks and its been ausome. Bucks chasin does everywhere here. My family farms about 2500 acres and there is about another not quite 1000 acres of timber along with that, so its pretty nice. What big town is beside where you want? Peoria, IL is about 20 miles away from where I hunt if you know where that is.

I'm only a few hours from Peoria. Northwest Suburbs of Chicago actually. There's a lot of nice deer in our area up here its just a pain to find a spot to hunt legally that doesn't have 100 people trespassing all over it. I probably spend more of my time chasing people off my hunting spots than I do hunting. Its sad really. Not to mention it just isnt the same kind of hunting when you're sitting in a treestand and you can see all the cars going by on the highway and people outside doing work in their yards. Its nice to get away into the timber every now and then and get away from everyone and everything.

18 here, this is my 3rd year hunting. I have yet to even get a shot on a deer yet. I almost got the chance at a nice sized buck this year, but he walked into some buck brush before i got a chance.
