IL FOID card delays?

Yeah, don't expect to see a $1,000 check stuffed inside the envelope of a $6 foid card with a handwritten 'SORRY!" on a Post'it.
This will be much more of a hassle than it's worth, heck, a guy might end up loosing money by the time everything is said and done, and I know that I sure wouldn't want to be the "guy who sued the State Police"

im sorry if any of you guys are state police but the people that work in that departmet are lazy and pricks too...I didnt get my FOID card in time to go a pheasant hunt with my buddies in Lincoln...called about 5 times and each time they said it was on its way...well it got there abotu 2 weeks too late....idiots

The last time I renewed mine, it took 8 business days. And, I always make sure to renew plenty early, like a month and a half before it expires. Just to be on the safe side, and stay current.
