INDIANA QUESTION

RE: INDIANA QUESTION
I think any part of the state you can kill a big buck. There have been quite a few record book deer killed this past season all over the state. It seems though that many of the bigger bucks are coming from the southern and west central counties. Parke County seems to produce quite a few big deer.

RE: INDIANA QUESTION
yea hunt the southern part of the state no big ones in the northeast corner. Thats like saying work is better then hunting. I live in Steuben county and have killed many 120 classbucks in the 4 county area. Including the 154 i took last year but for monsters the south is also producing some monsters

RE: INDIANA QUESTION
Actually there are a few (damn few) big deer in Indiana. The only problem is they seem to have came off of leased property and these properties have not been hunted for years. Those leases are thru a leasing company and from what I have seen of thier prices they run around 4-5 thousand and could be more. If you really want to hunt for big bucks contact an outfitter in Pike county Illinois area.

RE: INDIANA QUESTION
I've seen very large bucks in Steuben and LaGrange...and our leased land is only 1k..split 4 ways $250/person. Don't buy into the land leasing companies. Ask local farmers if they're interested in leasing hunting land..and check the local papers. That's all a person needs to do if they're truely interested.
