Default WI bow case ?

When I started bow hunting in Wisconsin about 8 years ago, I always kept my bow in a case on the way to the stand, because I beleived it was the law. Well, a couple of years ago friends started telling me that wasnt neccesary anymore. I cant seem to find anything in the regs about this. Am i ok walking in the woods before opening and after closing with an uncased bow??

Yes, just don't have an arrow knocked before or after shooting time, thats all.

I know the law used to read your bow must be cased if it is before one half hour before season starts and one half hour after season ends. I know of somehunters that got pinched for coming out of the woods to late last year with uncased bows. So I would rather be safe then sorry. I could be all wrong but I still use my case.
