Default Shelbyville

I am going to try and get 1 shoot at shelbyville in before the first tournament there this year. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few hints on where to at least start looking for a few fish. Im not asking for honeyhole info just a few good coves to start at. Prolly going to put in at the wolf creek ramp where the tourny is going to start. I will prolly try and make it the last weekend of this month weather permitting.

Wolf creek is a great place to put in. Just make sure you do not park even for a minute in the Handicap parking lot. They will nail you. Just about any where in shelbyville is good. You can usually find gar stright out from the ramp around the small island. Just up past them are two pretty good coves to the right or East. As a general rule you can find fish anywhere. It is one of my favorite places to shoot. Lots of stuff and a real chance for something big..

johnnys right just about anywhere on the lake you can shoot fish.
around eagle creek is good along with the cove just south of wolfcreek boat ramp. looks like we may have a repeat of last year. as of right now the lake is way up amost to were it was last year. so get out your chain saws and brush cutters.

Sounds good to me. I will punch some of that into my gps. I like trying out new lakes like that. Lots of lakes to try out and so little time to do so. I need to win the lotto so I can bowfish everyday.

Last year we didn't find any fish in the timber. The seemed to be on flats and points off the main lake. Let us know what you find!

Wow for suck a pretty day I was really dissapointed. We were on the lake from around 11am till 5pm and shot 8 fish. Didnt see many more than that either. We found some spots where they should have been but seen very few fish. The fish we did see were very skittish. So looks like we will be shooting blind for the tourny. Seen 2 other bowfishing boats out there but not sure how they did.
