Default Sunday night for a couple of hours

Steve and I got out to theprivate lake we've found just when it got dark last night. After fixing the carb on the genny we were off. Conditions were perfect but we hardly saw afish. I put 5 in the boat and Steve lost one at the boat. I definately got more shots than Steve but thank goodness his aim was a little off. He missed by inches the tail end of a giant beaver which we thought at first wasthe newIL state recordcarp in the murky water. I almost had a much more exciting story to tell today. It's cooling off though. Is it deer season yet?

It's gettin there. I've been trying to wear out some hunting arrows in the basement, but so far they are holding up.

That beaver thing would NOT have been pretty. [:-]
