While I was wading the desPlaines River the other day, I met a guy who was hanging out taking pics of trains. He was making use of the setting sun's angle to get some cool shots of the engines as they past.

Well, the same light angle that worked for him, was not helping me one bit. I was sometimes within a few feet of fish I couldn't see. The guy could see well from the bridge above me and talked me onto a few. Got 2 on the stringer before I left. Let him take the Buff for his help. Nice guy,

Something like that.
He referred to himself as a "Rail Enthusiast".

Picked a good spot too. Can't remember that last time 20 minutes went by out there without a train happening along.
