Clinton lake
#1
Well ole Cliff and I set sail for Clinton lake this moring with threatening rain. It was not a bluff. Started just before we got there. But considering we were there launched and started shooting fish. They are spawning and are everywhere. We are almost as good as Kendall & Christine. It took us 2 1/2 hours to boat 61 commons. At the end we were actually getting pickey. If they were it would be hard to get them out or if they were too small we just went right on by. Even with no sun, complete cloud cover and rain on the water we still could see them with no problem. Cant' wait until tomorrow, Kbi-prez and I are going again.

KBI-Prez and I headed over to Clinton lake again this moring. Man what a difference a day can make. We did not see one set of carp spawing. Not a splash to be seen. The wind was terriable, We could not find a cove to get out of it. It seemed to blow from every direction. Did manage to boat 34 common and one mirror carp for our efforts. Hit the boat ramp at around 1 pm. Was a blast watching the local speed boaters loading and unloading. Some people do not deserve to own a boat. They pull down onto the ramp then do all the unloading, un straping, loading of towls and etc. With a whole ramp of people waiting. And they are clueless and we are not in seattle. Oh Well was great as usual to be on the water. Bill make a couple of awsome shots. Looking forward to the state tourney in two weeks..
