Okay, ladys and gents.

It's time again for the Illinois Bowfishers '08 Challenge.We decided to keep it the same as last year's IB7C except that dogfish have been added.

$5 per category, $30 for allsix categories. You can enter one or two or three.. etc.

There will be five contests:
[ul][*]Common Carp[*]Bighead and Silver Carp[*]Grass Carp[*]Buffalo[*]Gar[*]Dogfish/Grinnell[/ul]

The Gar contest will be judged by length(weight as a tie breaker) and the Carp, Buffalo and Dogfishcontests will be by weight.

You may join one or allsix or any combination. The cost will be $5 per contest ($30 for all) 100% payout by category.

Participants must be Illinois Bowfishers members and sign up for the tournament before taking any fish that will be entered.

Fish must be taken by bow and arrow device and must be taken in IL waters (boundary waters are okay).

ok i just got paid and need to know. are we supposed to use the same form as last year or do you just want me to send you a check with the contests that i want to be in?

carpsniper, should be about 3 wks. away, soon as we see them in the shallows i'll call. the dogfish were the first ones in close last year.

There's a form in the newsletter. The newsletter which is on my computer but neither of my stupid printers will print out. [:@][:@][:@]

There was a drum problem (15K pages were up) so I bought a new drum which worked for a little bit and now it prints out 75% black pages and throws toner all over.

I spent a hour on the phone with Okidata trouble shooting the thing before the guy (nice guy) told me that at the very least the new drum is no good. There may be more problems... but until I get a new drum, we won't know.

Can you tell I'm annoyed?? I'm also covered in black toner. grrrrr...

Okay, because I don't know how long it will be until I can get a new drum, I may print out with the old drum. This means part of the page will be faded. If you get a partially faded newsletter. My apologies.

OK, we need to save that puppy as a pdf file and get a link to it on here. That way folks can print it themself.
