Sheds 08
Went out shed hunting this afternoon for the first time this year. Found a nice 4pt half in about 10 minutes. Then spent a hour and half looking for nothing. Absolutley seen deer everwhere.

I spent about 5 hours in the woods I hunt yesterday and didn't find one antler. I went out to start making a map of the area with my new GPS I got for Christmas, so it wasn't a waste of time, but I didn't see one. Kinda discouraging . I thought for sure I'd find a few. I even had my backpack to carry them all!

its been great here too 13 so far , found 8 friday,one set of 160 5/8 gross10pt with 9 4/8 brows,,, found four dead bucks as well from 120's to 150.... one of them bluetounge

i just got back from shed hunting. we found two 4 point sides and one dead buck. looks like someone poached him because he is only a 100 yards off the road with a big hole in him. and he has not been dead too long maybe 3 days. we have a lot of that around here. just a shame to see it happen to a young buck, who knows how big he could have gotten. that is why my management plan is not working. i hate poachers

I've been out looking too!! Not much else to do right now huh. I need to be getting my boat ready carp shootin. I went out twice and found 8. Including a matched set off of a mid 140 8 pointer with a drop tine.

Hay, Ryan! Welcome to the site. As you can see we all are pretty bored. Should be just a few more days till we can get out wackn. We just had a boat load of rain so that will put a stop for a few days. Again nice to hear from you.
