Was out in IL land yesterday doing levee inspections by helicopter. The Big Muddy was just out of its banks and fish were everywhere in the flooded areas. I saw one bighead that I could have easily shot from the bank that was 40+ and another that was 30+ along with many grassies with their backs out of the water. Could have been a great day shooting from the bank...had I not been working.

One more weekend of turkeys for us then it will be time for bowfishing.

By helicopter? That has to be a great way to spot fish.

Arehelicopters allowed in tournaments if it's on float pods?

My daughter shot a jake, but footage was nill. I shot a 26 1/4 lber, 11.5" beard, and 1 3/8" spurs. Good footage of that one, but I cheated and used a shotgun.
