Just heard from Johnny B, he said the wind was tough and there was a speed boat competition on the lake, but they still managed to shoot 54 common carp. Excellent job guys!
Gotta love all those coves.

Yep, Just got in from shelbyville. It is amaizing how that place changes. Last weekend there were buffalo and gar everywhere. To day Snuffy and I were on the water 11 1/4 hours and did not see one gar or buffalo. We went everywhere we have seen them before, nothing. The commons were everywhere. If we could have hit a few we would have had a boat full. Like Christine said we boated 54 each had at least 5 pull offs. THe wind and waves were rough. Seen 6 nice bucks too, and they all were out of velvet. Got to like that.

It was definately tough. We were trailing Chris by 30 minutesor so. We did not see very many buffs. We saw quite a few gar, but most of them were only 18", so we passed on most of them and missed the rest. We ended up with 16 total, 4 buffs, 5 carp and 7 gar, and lots of misses. But we had a blast. I'm hoping that next year with the help of a generator and lots more light we will do even better.

there are tons of fish in the lake you could easily put 300 fish in the boat in one night probably more. However when running hard there are stumps rocks post and anything you could imagine to hit with a trolling motor you would have to go slower
