Another Big Fish
#14
Diana, it's hard to tell. There sure have been a bunch of big fish taken so far this year. I think there is much more awareness of the record program now.
Then again will eveyone who shoots a big fish enter it? We've shot at least3 record fish this year that we haven't bothered to weigh and measure. We know there's more out there like the two posted here. I don't know if he's gonna turn one of them in or not. I doubt it. He's looking for a bigger one he knows is in that lake. If he gets it.

Got the certificates today from BAA. Also got a third one for the big head, It says ' Points Bearing Size' what is that all about? Got to get them hung up before KBI-Prez does me one better. You know he is gunning for me, nothing like a good buddy..

Johnny, your bighead is big enough (25lbs or bigger) to get points. (also called 'citation' fish)
The BAA has a competition for 'Bowfisherman of the Year'. Points are acumulated by going to BAA sanctioned shoots (more points if you place higher and get the big fish) and by turning in citation fish.
I'm hoping to get a couple of women to turn in points (for shoots and fish) so there can be a 'bowfisherwoman of the year' award. Hear that Diana, Debra, LovestoBowfish and Joanne?
