if you can draw a north western Montana tag there are some big cats in those regions and any outfitter has access to cat dogs. other wise look in to outfitters in Colorado, I heard that Rocky Mountain Outfitters is an all around good service that dose cat hunts. If your looking for anther state look into New Mexico they have a lot of cats, If I were to go on a cat hunt there I would go to New Mexico Trophy Hunts (W B Guide Service). I have Guided for five years, and over them years I have heard testimonials form a lot of different people and these are some of the outfitters and guide that I wrote down for future reference..

I can set you up on a great cat hunt in Idaho. I also work with several other outfitters that may interest you. My services are free, you pay the outfitters advertised price for the hunt. You can check out my website at www.huntfishconnection.com or email me with the specifics of what you are looking for, price, destination, ruggedness of hunt etc.

I can help on this one. We have been the number one producing mountain lion outfitter in the united states. Our northwest Montana area went to permits 3 years ago, but if you draw, you'll be taking home a cat. Everybody has for the last 18 years. In 2005, the last year before permits, we harvested 10 mountain lions in 9 days. Proof is in the pictures (as well as state required documentation). Please visit our website at www.wearesoutfitting.com and be sure to review the "newsletter" tab at the left. We are currently updating our trophy gallery, but there are mountain lion photos posted from the 2004 season and early 2009. Additional photos will be posted over the next couple of weeks. If you are interested, we will be happy to e-mail you the information to be placed in the drawing for a permit.
