Just looking for a Long range varmint scope to put on my new savage .17 HMR

you don't need much scope for a 150yd gun.

You dont need more then a 10x scope for that gun. I have a 6x-18x on mine and im looking for a 3x-9x or 3x-12x for it.

I got a very nice Ncstar on my .22 from www.cheaperthandirt.com. Sits nicely on my Ruger 1022 and for the money about $45.00 sits nicely in my pocket. I also, put a Simmons 3x9x32(?) on my second 1022 from Walmart sit me back about $35.00. Just a thought.

I've got a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 that i just took off my .17 mag. It's less than a month old. I'm mounting a 3-9x33 Leupold instead. $65.00 shipped and it's yours.
