Anyone Tried "Rivers West" Clothing?
I just received the cataolog from "Rivers West" on their waterproof clothing in various camo designs. Looks like pretty tough stuff and is supposed to keep the wearer nice and toasty besides. Has anyone given this stuff a try - if so, what did you think of it? Thanks.

Phish-on,
I have been in touch with Rivers west and I think that the H2p might be the real deal. I have realized that the properties of 'waterproof' and 'breathable' are inversely related. They have the same opinion. From my conversation with them, they stress that this clothing is not meant to be worn all the time, unless it is continually raining. In addition, they recommend that you avoid wearing this material if the temperature > 65 degrees due to the lack of breathability. However, this material is waterproof, tough, stretchable, and warm.
Regards,
GSjohnny

RE: Anyone Tried "Rivers West" Clothing?
Johnny - I got a chance to look over a pair of their Guide Pants (non-bibs) and was pretty impressed with what I saw. Where I'm at (SE Alaska) it DOES rain almost all the time, so I am looking for something pretty durable and warm - but without the weight of water-logged wool or fleece.
I think I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks for your response.
