Default RE: Which gun safe?

a "good price" is all relative to what you want to spend. Typically you will get what you pay for. I had been looking for about 8 months and considered every safe from Amsec, Browning, Cannon, Liberty, Brown, Redhead, Ft Knox, etc etc. In my opinion Champion Safes (www.championsafe.com) make some of the best safes for the money. They make a range of safes from around $800 and up. I purchased a Victory 35 which is 60x37x28, 36 cubic feet, fire rating of 1300 degrees for 1 hr, holds up to 44 long guns, weighs 925 pounds empty, sergeant/greenleaf goup II lock, for $1700 including tax and delivery.
