A couple of guys on here love the NV cameras. A friend also has one, and really likes it. I have never used it or seen any film from it though. .

I have a night vision. Didn' t get the most expensive one but its excellent.
I can see pretty good even at a distance.
I would suggest though to play with it since both the eye piece and the lense need to be focused in. it' s kinda funny but you' ll get the hang of it.

I have a cheap set, I can' t see real good out past 50 to 75 yards, but they are alot of fun to play with. I bought mine at an auction for about 80 bucks, I think they retail for a little over 250.
