They make very good clothes. If you are talking about there hunting line I have no experience with them but I work outside all winter and will never be without my Carhartt bibs. I have two Carhartt jackets also (one was because I bought a ruger bolt action rifle last year though) they are very tough work clothes that are made to take a beating. I'd say go for it!!

Carhartt's fabulous ! They take a bit to get used to, but when you do they are one of the most comfortable pants you can own! The only other pants that even come close to comparing for the abuse they can handle are the Wrangler jeans. Im not talking the red tag, walmart specials, I am talking the brown tag on the butt, cowboy jeans... You may need to hit a western wear store for them, but they wear longer than any other denim!!

I SWEAR by Carhartt!
I am a tree cutter by trade, and wear mine every time I am cutting wood, be it in the tree or on the ground.
I own 2 pairs of the double front pants, which have many scrapes, nicks, and other damage, but NO HOLES WHATSOEVER. I had one belt loop fail when it got caught in my saddle, but I fixed that myself.
I own 3 jackets of varying styles, all well worn and super comfortable, not to mention plenty warm on a -10 day.
Add to that a couple sweatshirts, t-shirts, and I'm sure a variety of other items, and that's pretty much my closet.
You can't go wrong with Carhartt. Period.
