Tracer by Easton
Just wanted to let everyone know my experience with the Tracer Lighted Nocks from Easton. I was at a bow shop last week looking for the luminocks. They didn't have the right size for the arrows I shoot. (Easton Axis) The guy behind the counter showed me a package of the Tracers. He said he liked them better than the luminocks. Anyway, I bought a package of 2. They include a set of two practice nocks as well that are the same weight. They were $19.95 for the two.
These nocks are turned on by passing a magnet that you stick somewhere on your bow close to the rest. I placed it on the side of the riser at the same height as the rest. They work as advertised. I have shot each of them several times without failure. They stay lit during flight and for a few seconds after hitting the target. Then they go into what they call "beacon" mode and flash. They are very easy to see when the targets are in the shade. Especially when they are flashing. They turn off when you touch them to the magnet.
Also, I haven't noticed any difference in point of impact versus the other nocks I use.
By the way, I'm shooting a Mathew's Outback set at 72lb draw.
Hopefully someone finds this useful.
Take care!
