A freind of mine is looking for a good range finder mostly for rifle hunting. He does not bow hunt. I have a Nikon and was going to recommend that, but I bought mine several years ago and there might be something better on the market. So whatin your opinion is the best range finder, for say $200 to $300 range? Thanks Chap Gleason

1st was a Nikon when they first came out, then in recent years got a leupold since they were advertising strongly etc...tried it out, Nikon is clearly better, and everyone I've seen post on this agrees.
Get a Nikon if you looking to spend under $400, otherwise it becomes leica I believe....

I have the same one and it is awsome! I have used it for about a year and half so far and couldn't be happier!
ORIGINAL: JW!
I use a Leopold RX 2 for turkeys, deer, dog judging ( need distance of throws)and archery. So far have not been disapointed.
