MtBreaks,
I bought one as a christmas present last year for my son Tony. Really good scopes and will stand up against any scope out there. My son Tony loves it! There Alaska guide series binoculars are outstanding too.

RE: Anyone used Cabela's ALaskan Guide Scopes?
Evening. I had the opportunity at Christmas to visit the Cabela's Store in Sydney, Nebraska. While there I had a long discussion with one of the optics sales reps about the Alaskan Guide series. He said that the reps were not privy to the actual company or companies that make this series, but that in his opinion, the equipment was first quality.
I wasn't there to get a scope but did buy a pair of 10x42 Alaskan Guide binos. They are outstanding. I compared probably at least 10 other pairs within my general price range, and the Alaskan Guide model was the best in my opinion. The sales rep was very high on the Alaskan series.
I assume that the quality of glass in their scopes is of equal value.
Every item I've purchased with a Cabela's label had been quite satisfactory.
Regards.
