I ran a Kplpin for five years on my Honda and it stays just behind your leg and inside the wheelwell so no problem ripping off and I run really rough terrain. I threw it away a few weeks ago when I noticed it had rubbed the bluing off my Binelli!! Also it threw my sights off on my muzzlegun.

i was thinking about how the case rubbed a spot on your gun. all i have seen have a good lining inside . i have some nice browning rifles and i also put the rifle in a gun sock. i have had my kolpin since 1999 and have never had that particular problem.

dep-I understand the wooly lining and think mine was hust worn out from years of rocky riding here. Just happened the last year or so so bet the guns just tore the lining up. I think the Kolpin is the best and toughest boot and might buy another one but believe me if you are a roughneck you will wear the liner down so just need to check your guns good.
