Thanks for all the advice. I think I'm going to go try on several pairs (leaning toward the Danners). I've never ordered anything from Sportsman's Guide, but it sounds like a lot of you guys buy from there, so I figure I'll check it out. Thanks again.

I have sold hunting boots for over two years at Bass Pro and Dicks Sportting Goods. I would go with Danner or Irish Setters personally. It all comes down to trying them on though.....they all fit and feel so different depending on person to person..

I wear the Irish Setter Elk Trackers (Kangaroo leather) andBY FAR the best boots I have had. Waterproof, insulated, fairly light, good soles, and VERY comfortable. They were fairly expensive about $220 if I remember right, I got them at www.onlineshoes.com since California doesn't allow Kangaroo leather boots here. Did I mention they were really comfortable??
