I have 2 blinds , ones an ameristep brickhouse and the other is a eastman outfitters which is knock off for the brickhouse, both have nice windows to shoot bows from.
I left my eastman set up all deer season and even longer, so did my friend using the ameristep grizzly. We finally got around to going back to the ranch to take them down, his grizzly was destroyed, my eastman was still standing and except for a little fadingand isgood as new.
I dont think the 300 dollar blinds are any better. I have 2 blinds and still have a 100 dollars left.

I purchased a Double Bull Matrix today after reading reviews and watching the online videos of how easy the set up was. I had a crappy blind last year that "popped" up which I only paid $40 for. You get what you pay for as far as most hunting equipment goes. My $40 blind flapped in the wind and spooked more than its share of whitetails. It works ok for turkeys but since I have a fear of heights I usually hunt in a ground blind or on the ground. I got the DB Matrix and can't wait for opening day of archery season in South Carolina in a few weeks.

bspencer,

like I said in my post the pop-up blinds can be very loud when you first pop them up which could spook nearby game. They also are not very taut in the middle so the wind flap is considerable. After much consideration I purchased the DB Matrix. I won't be hunting in it for two more weeks so I'll report back after opening week.
