? for API climbing stand users
I just got a great deal on an API Grand Slam Supreme climber, but unfortunately the previous owner lost the instructions. The stand was originally purchased from Bass Pro last fall. My question is when backpacking do you carry with the cables up or the cables down?

The stand is really comfortable and easy to climb with. The only drawback I have found is the stand is a little bulky when packing it in. I am comparing the API to my Summit Bushmaster, which is a smaller stand. I feel like once I get used to the stand it will probably become my first choice.
