Scentlok, ScentBlocker, Supprescent are various makes of the clothing. All use activated charcoal to filter out odors just like a filter in a mask.
Supprescent is a GorTex laminate used by WhiteWater Outdoors and is is the longest lasting of the makes out there from the laminate. Scentlok also uses a single ply laminate in what they call their Savanna Series for use under your gear or early fall hunting outerwear.
ScentBlocker is the heaviest of the makes since it uses an extra layer of material to which the carbon is glued; they use more carbon but the glue covers a large portion of each piece so the need for more. You will also notice your laundry turns black after wach washing--carbon washing out. Never fear you can reactivate it with carbon wash or spray.
All are available in a number of configurations and styles. Supprescent and Scentlok would the best choices. I have gear from both and have yet to have black water and they are wearing well.
If you use this gear store in a clear garbage bag or one of the cabron bags out there--keeps household smells from sifting in. Dress in the woods and use a cover spray such as Wildlife Research or Robison Labs fall/dirt spray. This helps get rid of the last "human" smells.
Follow manufacturers directions for care and maintance.
