I just bought a moultrie gamespy 200 and i'm having a problem. I have the image delay set on one minute. If i understand correctly that doesn't mean it is supposed to take a picture every minute, but has to delay at least a minute between pictures when there is motion. i have it set up in a dark room and every minute it takes a picture. there is no motion close to it. Just thought i would see if anybody knows about these cameras.
Thanks,

I think the 1 min delay is for time between pictures after it has been triggered by something. Did you set it up for multiple pictures taken? If so, that is likely what is happening. If you set it up for 5 multi-pics, it will take 5 pics, 1 min apart after it has detected something in front of it. then it should stop taking pics until the next time something triggers it.
Is that the issue or is it taking pictures non stop for an hour? If so then there might be an issue.
Hope that helps..

parker, thank you for the reply. I have the camera set on 1 minute delay, and have it set to take only 1 picture. for some reason it just keeps taking. I had the camera set in a dark bathroom and it just kept on taking pictures until the internal memory was full. I thought the camera seemed pretty easy to program but maybe i did something wrong. Does this camera detect heat also??? Please Help. LK

Hmm. the only other thing I can think of is that you may have it on the Handheld setting for taking pics like a regular camera. Are you leaving the camera on "Auto"? other than that you got me stumped. We have 3 moultres, but haven't had that problem. May be try taking out the battery's and resetting the events and defaults and start all over. If that doesn't work, I'd bring it back and exchange it.
Good luck!!

Parker, I got tired of messing with it and called Moultrie. The gentleman told me it sounded like it had been dropped maybe while shipping. I sent it back to Cabelas for exchange. Hope they can get me another out quickly so i can get it put out. Thanks LK
