Safety Harness
Just found a box on my front porch. Must have come today when no one was here.
My new tree stand full body safety harness/vests from Hunter Safety System. One full camo for bow& one reversible camo/blaze orange for gun. Theyfit great. Light, comfortable and not too constraining. Tons of really nice features.
I got a hunter safety instructors price of $69.99 each, but I believe that the reg price is $99.99 each.Certified instructors, you get the special price because they expect you to use them to demo in class and show how simple safety can be. I'll break mine in at this weekends class.

RE: Safety Harness
They are a great idea, and I was actually just looking at one last week.I really like the convienence of putting it on at your truck with your other clothing and just connecting the buckle when in stand. And the extra pockets will be great to hold your calls, knife etc.

RE: Safety Harness
I purchased a safety vest from Cabela's about 2 yrs. ago and use nothing else but that, no tangled straps in the dark it's great. The one you have has a few more pockets than mine which is a very nice feature. In warmer weather if I wear mine on the outside of my clothing it covers most of my pockets.

Tree Stand Safety Harness Recall
Hunter's View has recalled about 500,000 2004 model year Fall Arrest Systems (harnesses). They have model number 3333 and Model Year 2004 written on a white label attached to the harness or the tree strap. They were included with about 47 different models of Hunters View and Comfort Zone brand tree stands.
These harnesses could fail during use, resulting in consumers falling from tree stands and suffering serious injuries or death - so stop using them and contact Hunter's View immediately. You can call Hunter’s View at (888) 878-0440 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.

RE: Safety Harness
I have one of the older ones and they are great. Much easier then the old harnesses to get on, and can be put on quickly and feel much safer then I ever did with the older systems, even full body! Will probably always use on because what value do you place on your life! [8D]

RE: Safety Harness
Kamil and JL, are you guys talking about the kind of harness that just goesaround your waiste or chest? DO NOT use those types, they are dangerous if you fall. Get a full body harness!!!!!!
